Amirault's Côte 50 pulls from just under five hectares across four Bourgueil sites, Les Sables, La Coudraye, Les Pins, Les Perrières, where sand, clay, and gravel meet 35-year-old organically farmed Cabernet Franc. The 2019 is the vibrant, unfussy end of the estate: bright fruit, fine tannin, and enough structure to hold its own against whatever's on the plate. This is Cabernet Franc doing what it does best, which is making dinner better.
