Terra Blanca Signature Series Albarino 2023

Albariño is Iberian by birth, but Terra Blanca sources this one from a small vineyard on a steep east-facing slope in the Yakima Valley, less than half a mile from the estate. Citrus, honeysuckle, and nectarine on the nose give way to apricot, honeydew, and pear, all of it framed by a citrus spine of lemon, grapefruit, and orange. Bright acidity carries the mid-palate clean. This is a white with a backbone, not just a pretty face.
