Tenuta San Guido is the estate that made Bolgheri matter. Home of Sassicaia, the first Super Tuscan and the bottle that rewrote what Italy could be taken seriously for. The 2021 is deep ruby and concentrated, with elegant red fruit aromas and a mouth that's rich and dense without ever losing its balance; the tannins are sweet and beautifully knit, the finish long. This is Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon speaking Italian, and the accent is the whole point.
