A Columbia Valley red blend that lets Cabernet Franc take the wheel. 42% of it, edging out the Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot and Syrah rounding the corners. Dried herb, green pepper, cherry, and a twist of dried orange peel lead into a plump, direct palate that's all cherry and herb, no detours. Sleight of Hand has never been shy about personality, and this is Cab Franc showing its face rather than hiding behind the Cabernet.

Tasting Notes

38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Cab Franc, 11% Merlot, 10% Syrah Columbia Valley AVA Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc drive this blend. Aromas of dried herb, green pepper, cherry, and dried orange peel lead to a direct, plump, flavorful palate, chock full of fruit-forward, very direct cherry and herb flavors. The oak seems dialed way back. This is just enjoyment in the glass. If you’re looking for something that punches well above its weight for a weekday wine or a restaurant wine by the glass, look no further. This wine brings it. 14.9% alcohol.
