Young, up-front, full-bodied, and perfectly balanced, it has incredible purity of fruit, the sweet, velvety tannins that are common in the vintage, no hard edges, and a great finish. This is one heck of a sexy, seamless 2019 that can be enjoyed any time over the coming 20-25 years. About the Producer
Sinegal Estate has a rich heritage dating back to 1879, with the first vines planted in 1881. It is a family-owned Saint Helena based historic 30-acre property. The property has changed owners a number of times over the decades, passing through separate families. Its current owner, David Sinegal, purchased the property in 2013. Since then, the Sinegal’s have focused on updating the property with current farming practices, by integrating innovation and technology into their winemaking.
The skeleton key on every label of Sinegal Estate wines represents the importance of legacy and preserving the heritage of these families. The original key opens the front door to the historic home on site and is displayed in the tasting room. With respect to the history of this property, this one key has already become iconic to the brand.
