Schloss Gobelsburg farms sites the Zwettl monks were granted in 1171, Heiligenstein and Gaisberg are the oldest documented vineyards in the Kamptal, and this bottling draws on young vines from the estate's best parcels: Lamm, Grub, Renner. Loess soils, stainless steel only, nothing to blur the picture: a Grüner with clean lines and a mid-palate that stays taut rather than showy.
