Roederer Estate is Champagne Louis Roederer's Anderson Valley outpost, and the family brought their playbook with them: estate-owned fruit and oak-aged reserve wine folded into the blend, a method two centuries in the making. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir give it a crisp attack and lifted aromatics, then a creaminess that lingers through a long, salivating finish with a faint grip of fruit skin on the mid-palate. This is California sparkling with a Champagne house's fingerprints all over it.
