About the Producer

Rasa Vineyards was founded in 2007 by brothers Billo and Pinto Naravane, who discovered Walla Walla as a hidden gem with incredibly diverse terroir capable of high-quality winemaking. Billo Naravane, a Master of Wine, and Pinto share a deep commitment to producing ultra-premium, terroir-specific wines from Eastern Washington and Northeastern Oregon, with a focus on Bordeaux- and Rhône-style wines. Their estate Naravane Vineyard, 25 acres in The Rocks District, anchors their lineup alongside fruit from premier sites including Ciel du Cheval on Red Mountain. The brothers embrace a strict minimal-interventionist approach—letting the sense of place speak through the wine. "Like a poem, my wine is complete only when the wine is experienced with an open mind and an open heart," Pinto describes. "A connection is made to the essence of the wine, to the place where the grapes were grown, and to the intent, passion, and vision of the winemaker."
