Pecchenino has been a family concern for generations. Orlando and Attilio now run the estate their grandfather Attilio built, farming sustainably in the Langhe. The 2023 Nebbiolo leads with raspberry and blueberry over violet and spice, then settles into round, elegant tannins and a long, refined finish. Powerful in its youth, complex with age. About the Producer
The Pecchenino winery has always been at its core, a family business. Currently the winery is run by Orlando and Attilio Pecchenino, the grandchildren of Attilio Pecchenino.
The first documentation of winemaking activity during the end of the 20th century, when the winery, managed by their grandfather Attilio, had little more than 8 hectares. In the 1970s, the reins of the winery passed into the hands of his son Marino and later, at the end of the 1980s in line with the generational changeover, his sons Orlando and Attilio took over the business.
