Mirabeau Pure Rose 2023

Stephen and Jeany Cronk built Maison Mirabeau from scratch in 2010, and this Grenache-based Côtes de Provence rosé shows why the family has spent the years since collecting awards: it's a technical expression of Provence dressed up as an easy drink. Pale pink with peachy reflections, it opens on white peach, pear and zesty grapefruit, those thiol aromatics are powerful but reined in, then turns to small red berries and bright citrus across the mid-palate. The finish is mineral and mouthwatering, which is the part cheap rosé never gets right.
