Le Macchiole farms organically on the Tuscan coast, and this 2018 Merlot makes the case that the grape belongs there. Dark berries, crushed walnut, spicy herbs, a dusty earthiness underneath. The tannins are firm but fine-grained and polished, with juicy acidity cutting a linear path through the finish and leaving behind a streak of stony minerality. Tasting Notes

Aromas of dark berries with crushed walnuts, spicy herbs and dusty earth undertones. A firm grip of tannins, that are fine and polished. Juicy acidity cuts through the linear finish. Fresh with stony minerality coming through in the finish.
