Reviews:  94 Points, Decanter This Pinot Noir comes from a vineyard site in the eastern reaches of the Walla Walla Valley. At 1700ft or just about 520m, it's in a cool spot in a warm region. The wine is vibrant and fresh, and its pale ruby hue glints in the light. It leans towards woodland aromas of turned soils, evergreen tips, fresh mint leaves and a piquant note of blood orange. The palate offers zesty red bramble berries, salted blood orange rind, and dried herbs and lavender mouthfuls. It's a lovely wine and proves that light and fresh wines are possible in Washington. - Clive Pursehouse 91 Points, Wine Enthusiast This neutral French oak beauty is a study in finesse and balance. The wine's aromas are a yin-yang duel of raspberry coulis on one hand and earthy/funky blackberry tea on the other. Tart blackberries rule the palate, joined by black tea and saline flavors. The smooth and easy texture makes this wine a joy to sip all by itself. - Michael Alberty 90 Points, NW Wine Report Pinot Noir is an extreme rarity in the valley. This is a beautiful example. It’s lighter in color, with orange at the rim. The aromas enchant, with notes of forest floor, mushroom, wet stone, stem, strawberry, and herb – very varietally correct. The flavors are light bodied, showing pleasing juiciness and elegance. This is one for the dinner table. Enjoy it with pork loin. 11.9% alcohol. Micro-agglomerated cork. 173 cases produced.
