Coming from the old Gripa vines, the 2020 Ermitage Ex-Voto is a massive, powerful wine offering loads of cassis, graphite, crushed stone, and integrated oak. Full-bodied and concentrated, it shows the ripe, powerful style of the vintage with sweet tannins and that classic Hermitage sense of class and regalness. Brought up all in new French oak barrels for 42 months.

The 2022 Ermitage Ex Voto is riper and more solar than the La-La cuvées (La Turque, La Mouline and La Landonne), which is to be expected given the south-facing exposure of the Hermitage hill.
