Domaine FL, Fournier Longchamps, is a family estate in Rochefort-sur-Loire, just southwest of Angers, with vineyards straddling several serious Loire appellations, Savennières among them. Organic farming, hand harvesting, and no malolactic fermentation on the whites: nothing here softens the Chenin's edges, which is exactly the point. Lively and delicate on the nose, with a saline snap on the finish. This is Chenin with its nerve intact.
Winemaker Notes
The vinification process aligns with nature and its terroir, with wines labeled “organic agriculture” to honor biodiversity and the preservation of natural resources. Harvesting is done manually for high-quality grapes, and no malolactic fermentation is used in white wines, preserving their aromatic richness and aging potential.
Tasting Notes
The aromatic notes are lively, delicate and deliver a saline sensation on the finish.
