Domaine Brunely Gigondas 2022

Three generations of the Carichon family in Vacqueyras, with holdings scattered across Cairanne, Ventoux, Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This is a house that knows the southern Rhône from several angles at once. The 2022 leans on Grenache for roundness: cherry, licorice, a whisper of cocoa, tannins like silk. Then the Mourvèdre arrives at the mid-palate with exotic spice and pulls the whole thing longer and firmer, a flattering duo that still has a spine.
