This cuvée is a parcel selection. The grapes come exclusively from the oldest plot located in the place called "Les Bessards", in the heart of the Hermitage hillside. This wine is only made in great years. Its production is voluntarily limited to 6000 bottles per year. Grape variety: 100% Syrah.
To the eye, the dress is dark red, shiny and deep. The nose, of a great breed, exhales sweet scents of black fruits and violets. The Hermitage "Les Bessards" presents an extremely concentrated fruitiness in the mouth. This wine impresses with its particularly dense and rich tannic structure, and its perfect balance.

A brilliant wine, with deep red hue, and lots of depth. The nose shows great class, with soft aromas of blackberries, violets. Hermitage "Les Bessards" shows plenty of concentration in its fruit. This wine has a particularly dense and rich tannic structure, and is extremely good balance. Pairs well with red meats, rare or medium cooked - game, marinated meats, and spicy stews.
