Dard & Ribo farm organically in Crozes-Hermitage, working clay, gravel, and alluvial soils. The kind of riverbed ground that gives Syrah lift rather than weight. A short maceration keeps the extraction gentle, and the time in casks and old barrels shapes the wine without stamping it; the fruit stays out front, the tannin stays fine-grained. This is northern Rhône Syrah with nothing hiding behind the oak.
