Cristom's 2023 Gamay Noir is a small-lot bottling drawn mostly from the estate's Paul Gerrie Vineyard, with a splash from neighboring Björnson. Whole clusters, native yeasts, carbonic fermentation. The kind of hands-off winemaking that lets a grape be itself: bright red fruit, a delicate floral lift, nothing weighing it down. Serious estate fruit in a wine that refuses to take itself too seriously.
