Constantia Glen Two 2018

A wooded white blend from Constantia Glen, built from hand-picked blocks on the estate. Sémillon pressed as whole bunches, Sauvignon Blanc destemmed and given several hours on its skins before pressing. Pale straw with a green cast, it opens on lime, green fig and white blossom, with real concentration behind the aromatics and a citrusy line of acidity holding the mid-palate together. Purity of fruit and structure in the same glass, which is harder to pull off than it sounds.
