Chateau Les Mesclances farms twenty-year-old vines at the base of the hill below the estate, and the Romane leans on Grenache at 70% with Cinsault and Mourvèdre filling in the frame. That Mourvèdre earns its keep, a flicker of amertume, that fresh bitter edge, and a saline snap on the finish that pulls you straight back to the glass. Provence rosé with something to say beyond pink.
