“This is excellent. The 2021 Gamay is redolent with green peppercorns, freshly tanned leather, red apple skins, black tea, rivulets of mineral acidity, graphite and black cherries. It's a bit meaty. In the mouth, the wine is savory and exciting; it riffs off the 100% whole-bunch character (confronting for some) and is firmly structured, but the absence of new oak softens the experience in the mout
