Prospice's second run at this Rhône-style blend comes out of the Walla Walla Valley in a pale, pretty purple that undersells what's waiting underneath. The nose is genuinely layered. Red cherry, strawberry, and raspberry up front, then floral edges and a savory, spicy undertow that keeps the fruit honest. This is the kind of wine that rewards a second sniff, and it's from our own valley.
