Lithe and focused, Le Vin des Amis is just as it sounds: an irresistible charmer to be shared among good friends, characterized by a brilliant floral perfume and wild dark fruit that glides over the palate like velvet.
Fermented and aged in cement tanks, then 2 month passage in foudres before bottling. Vineyards are situated between the village of Cornas and the Rhône river.

James SucklingTasted: Apr 2025. A pure syrah that is juicy and charming, with a vivacious personality on the medium-bodied palate. Gentle tannins underline the fruit and give it a very smooth finish. Charcuterie aroma alongside the red berries. From flat vineyards between the Rhone and the town of Cornas. Whole-bunch vinification. Drink now.

About the Producer
Cornas is one of the world’s few blue-chip addresses that we still associate with traditional winemaking. For this, we can thank Auguste Clape, the village’s icon, who has demonstrated for more than half a century how to make old school Cornas of beauty, typicity and character. Clape Cornas is the very essence of traditionally made Northern Rhône Syrah, born of the ancient clone, “ la Petite Syrah,” planted in the village ’ s best sites, blended for balance and complexity and allowed to “make itself” as much as possible.
