Loimer's 2022 Riesling from Langenlois sings with peach, apricot, and stone fruit. Initially reserved, it opens beautifully with air to reveal lemon jelly and a distinctive salinity. The balance of gentle fruit sweetness and lively acidity makes this a crystalline expression of biodynamic viticulture that drinks straight and true.
Winemaker Notes
Bright yellow hue and pronounced tears. A fine bouquet with aromas of peach puree, apricot and a hint of vanilla. Initially reserved, the wine opens with air and exudes charming stone fruit and lemon jelly notes. Gentle fruit sweetness, lively acidity and distinctive saltiness. Straightforward, crystal clear and full-bodied with a fine, racy texture and a delicate citrus finish. Refreshing and lengthy. Excellent price-pleasure ratio.
