Fuligni's 2019 Brunello di Montalcino unfolds with the structure and mineral edge you get from Sangiovese grown in Tuscany's stone and clay. East-facing vineyards that catch morning sun and hold cool nights at altitude. This is serious, unfussy Brunello: taut tannins and the kind of mid-palate you want to think about over dinner.
