Vilmart & Cie's 2013 opens with a cool mentholated freshness that unfolds into candied apricots and a velvety roundness; the palate brings acacia honey and violet candy with an elegant, lingering finish that refuses to fade. There's a confident freshness here. This is Champagne that doesn't need to shout.
Winemaker Notes
The nose of Vilmart & Cie is fresh with mentholated notes, which then develops candied apricots aromas. It becomes defined on the nose with velvety, fresh and round aromas. In the mouth, discover flavors of acacia honey and violet candy. The mouth is fresh and elegant, with an incredible aromatic length, with notes of lemon and candied fruits. This Ratafia leaves on the palate a very persistent note of freshness.
