About the Producer
Domaine Robert Chevillon is a leading estate in Nuits-Saint-Georges, farming about 13 hectares of vineyards, including eight Premier Crus. Many of their parcels contain very old vines, especially in Les Cailles, Les Vaucrains and Les Saint-Georges, where average vine age is around 75–80 years. Les Chaignots and Les Bousselots tend to show a more supple, northern Nuits-Saint-Georges style, while the deeper clay and older vines in Les Cailles, Les Vaucrains and Les Saint-Georges give more structured, powerful wines. The village cuvée includes younger vines from Premier Cru parcels.
