Weinbau Vineyard sits on the Wahluke Slope, one of Washington's warmest and driest addresses, and Revelry's Jared Burns has been mining the Columbia Valley for exactly this kind of fruit since 2005. All Cabernet Franc, Clone 2, with 45% new French oak framing rather than smothering it. The structure is there, but the varietal character stays in the driver's seat. Past vintages have pulled 92–93 points from The Wine Advocate, which tells you Walla Walla wasn't bluffing.

About the Producer
Founded in 2005, Revelry Vintners was formed from a passion for the viticulture and wines of Washington State's Columbia Valley, and an insatiable urge to share that passion with likeminded people. Jared Burns, a northwest native, founded Revelry with the goal to showcase that Walla Walla could compete on the world stage of fine wine. He first began making wine working alongside some of Washington's finest winemakers, harvesting fruit throughout the Columbia Valley's distinct and varying microclimates from the Wahluke Slope, Horse Heaven Hills, and Red Mountain AVAs.
Merlot is the grape most responsible for the existence of Revelry Vintners. It was a singular experience with Merlot sourced from the Horse Heaven Hills that wholly captured Jared Burns's attention and set him on this path. With encouragement to color outside the lines, Burns learned winemaking on the job and grew Revelry from just three single varietal wines in 2005 into a powerful lineup that includes the single-vineyard AERIALS™ Series and the Columbia Valley Collection.
Revelry wines are crafted by the skilled hands of a chosen few in their cellars in Walla Walla, relying on time-tested techniques passed down from history, in unison with modern technology. Each wine is a pure representation of its origins in the Columbia Valley.
