Tasting Notes

Pale pink in the glass. Pink Pape charms with notes of cherry blossoms, strawberry, citrus medley, and kiwi on the nose. Following a juicy, delicate entry, flavors of stone, citrus, and tropical fruits evolve on the palette before leading into a finish balanced by lingering acidity and minerality. 

Winemaker Notes

A Rhône-inspired blend of four traditional Châteauneuf-du-Pape varieties—Mourvèdre, Grenache, Counoise and Cinsaut—the 2025 vintage of Pink Pape was grown 100% on our Blackrock Estate Vineyard on the eastern edge of the Yakima Valley AVA. Individual blocks were hand-harvested and whole-cluster pressed on a gentle yet rapid press cycle to avoid excessive extraction from the skins. The result yielded a juice pale salmon in color with delicate flavors and aromas. Fermentation was carried out at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks and continued until dry. After three months of maturation on lees, individual components were racked and blended to create a pure and vibrant Rosé.
