The 2023 The Widowmaker is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grown at 872-feet elevation on the Oregon side of the valley. Aging for 18 months in 30% new oak has mellowed its medium-bodied structure and power, grippy in mouthfeel and tannin, with refined red fruit, dried herb, and a leathery underbelly. This is such a unique take on Cabernet, funky but finessed, and age-worthy through 2043.

A burst of cassis and rosemary come together with hints of pipe tobacco, pine resin and crushed blackberries as the 2021 Widowmaker evolves in the glass. This is pure elegance, silken and serene, with ripe black fruits and tactile mineral tones propelled by a core of juicy acidity.
